Bangladesh’s Rankings in Global Governance and Justice Indexes: University Students’ Perception Analysis
Current Research in Social Sciences 10(2), 157–176, November 2024
Do Bangladesh’s weak positions in international governance and justice indexes reflect how its university students see the country’s institutions? Combining index data with a survey of 200 students on the judiciary, human rights, press freedom, political influence over the courts and corruption, the study finds that perceptions broadly match the rankings, and that students see an effective judiciary as important for economic growth.
